The 9th International Ukraine'2002 Travel Market took place in Kiev 10-12 October. This is a independent event that is held in the Expocenter of Ukraine in Kiev every year and is gradually attracting more International Participants and visitors.
This year approximately 400 Tour Operators, national and local tourism companies, hotels and other suppliers participated with International delegates from Austria, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Greece, Estonia, Egypt, Israel, Indonesia, Spain, Italy, Canada, Cyprus, Libya, Malta, UAE, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Hungary, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Chile, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and even Jamaica.
The exhibition filled the two pavilions in addition to many outdoor exhibits. The organisers claim to have attracted 21,000 Trade visitors and many more visitors. Whilst the number of trade and public visitors was excellent we do feel that these numbers are somewhat exaggerated!
The dates for Ukraine'2003 are 09-11 October 2003.
