Private airline "Transaero" flies to Asia

Commencing from the 30th of October, 2004 the air carrier performing regular flights to Singapore. The flight operates on Saturday and Sunday by Boeing B767. The greater interest was shown towards new flight by business travelers and tour operators who have purchased a ticket block a few months ahead. The new flight allows the formation of 2 weeks combined travel package with 1-3 nights stay in Singapore and further leisure in Bali and Malaysia as well as variety of tours options available by domestic airlines.

During New Year Holidays, Transaero operated a chain of charters to Denpasar (Bali). Direct non-stop flights were performed in 28, 29 of December and in 2,3 of January and further as it was scheduled from 12th January till the end of March. The main block's holders of the flight are "Lanta-tour voyage", UTE Megapolus Group, "Neva", Capital-Tour. Tour operators are quite sure about the flight which has opened up a new possibilities for them and allows direct flights to Bali and thereby reducing the total price of the travel package.

Airport Domodedovo attracts new air carrier :

Israeli airline EL AL has moved their regular flights to the best Moscow airport Domodedovo. Since 31st of October the carrier operates 8 flights Moscow - Tel Aviv per week.

"Aeroflot" withdraws the IL - 96 on flights to Europe and Cuba

Aeroflot has to stop operatinging flights to Europe by IL-96 aircraft due to the lack of collision alert equipment. The decision was announced recently by airline's General Director, Mr. Valery Okulov. According to his words "Russian aircraft manufacturing plants have still not developed the appropriate documentation on providing the IL-96 and TU-204 aircrafts with collision alert equipment".

Mr. Okulov also reminded that starting from the 1st of January aircraft which are not provided with such equipment will not be allowed to fly to Europe.
