TEZ TOUR enters the European market
Travel company "TEZ tour" has announced of its entering to the market of continental Spain. According to the words of the company's PR director - Mrs. Sofia Soboleva, tour operator has prepared itself to this major step nearly 2 years. Firstly TEZ TOUR has developed Tenerife, and later in 2004 has opened a receptive office in Barcelona. During last summer season, the company takes off on weekly basis board with 170 tourists from Vilnius and extra 100 people take off every 10 days from Riga. For the past period of time there were radically perfected technologies of tourists travel, established new business contacts and prepared a proper foundation for reception of great number of tourists. On 30th of April, TEZ TOUR started it's summer program to Spain. Costa Dorado and Costa Brava have been chosen as a basis resorts.
The company has concluded paying agreements with Princess Hotels in Costa Dorado, due to its cooperation with the hotel chain in Cuba and Dominican and therefore gets an attractive tariffs.
More than 600 people will take off to Spain from Moscow three time a week. Additionally, there will be arranged charter flights from Saint Petersburg and Ekaterinburg as well as from Kiev, Riga and Vilnius.
Solvex - Greece
Travel company Solvex Travel carried through presentation on their summer program in Greece. Mr. Aleksis Khatzis, the director of Greece Travel Office in Moscow has visited the event. According to his words, Greece will spend a peak budget for an advertise in Russia this year. Starting from 11 of May till 10 of June in the center of Moscow and in all roads to airports will appear Greece billboards (cost approx. €.200,000). The motto of the promotion action is "Come to Greece and touch a legend". There will be held a number of promotional tours for tour operators and mass media to attract attention to concrete regions of the country (Peloponnesus and Ionian Islands). According to the forecast of Solvex there will be a serious growth of interest to the country which boosts sales on Greece and will span last year data.
British minister of Tourism and Sport praises Russian tourism
Minister of sport and tourism of UK , Richard Kayborn met Russian tour operators specializing in Great Britain and press in the Residence of British Ambassador earlier this year. The Minister was excited with the growth of Russian tourism and active expenses of Russians in Great Britain. In 2004, there was an increase of 14% in the number of visas issued. Russians spent over 59 millions pounds. Russians are come ahead on average per capital expense per day and in top ten per trip expenses. Due to attractive dynamic of Russian market for the British, Mr. Kayborn excepting the opening of the representative office of Visit Britain (organization which promotes Great Britain in foreign markets) in Moscow in the end of 2005.
